[China, 2024] – Specialty-ingredient distributor Double Chemical has launched REWOQUAT® SQ 1, a multifunctional antistatic additive that integrates four fabric-care benefits—static control, easier ironing, wrinkle reduction and softening—into a single, silicone-quaternary structure.
Active matter (49–51 %) is delivered in propylene glycol as a pale-yellow, crystal-clear fluid based on polydimethylsiloxane bearing twin quaternary ammonium groups. The cationic silicone architecture neutralises fibre-bound charges at the source, eliminating cling and shock while lowering ironing friction on difficult substrates such as pure cotton and wool.
