Cotton conditioner

Many people think that "cotton conditioner" refers to fabric softener. However, this is not the case. "Cotton conditioner" is not exactly the same as fabric softener; rather, it is a multi-component post-treatment aid specifically used for "synthetic cotton" or "enhanced cotton style".

Its functions: "To enable cotton (or cotton-containing) fabrics to maintain water absorption and breathability while achieving a 'like-new cotton-like' comprehensive feel, including being fluffy, soft, thick, and free of static electricity, while also taking into account additional properties such as easy ironing, less wrinkling, and durability and wearability." 

1. Touch Reformation

A layer of "soft oil essence + modified silicone oil" is formed on the surface of the fibers, reducing the dynamic and static friction coefficients between fibers and fibers, as well as between fibers and the skin, so that the fabric feels both the smoothness of silicone oil and the "fluffy" and rebounding effect brought by soft oil essence, achieving a "fluffy + cottony" effect rather than a fake smoothness.

2. Protection and Easy Care

Anti-static: The cationic components neutralize the negative charges on the fiber surface, reducing dust adsorption and the "crackling" sensation when worn close to the body;

Anti-wrinkle and easy ironing: Reducing the internal stress at the crease points, the wrinkles are significantly reduced after drying, and the ironing time is shortened;

Reducing wear: The membrane layer acts as a "lubricating pad", reducing fiber breakage and balling in the washing machine, and extending the lifespan of the clothing.

However, most cotton conditioners are composed of two main raw materials:

(1) Soft oil essence/fatty acid amide type - providing fluffiness and softness;

(2) Amino silicone oil or modified silicone oil - bringing smoothness and elasticity.

Tongxun Chemicals' 21379 modified block silicone oil, as well as WE28 ester-based quaternary ammonium salt, have excellent application effects in cotton conditioners. 

Y 23179

Y-23179 is a nano organic silicon type fabric softener, with a weak cationic property. It has excellent compatibility, suitable for cationic, non-ionic, amphoteric, and most anionic systems, and can also be used in two-in-one laundry detergents, which is particularly applicable. Y-23179 offers a softer, smoother, and more fluffy feel!

Appearance: Transparent to slightly cloudy liquid, solid content: 20-25%, original liquid pH value: 4-6

Main performance advantages:

Does not contain alkylphenol compounds (APEO chemicals free), can comply with environmental protection standards;

Has excellent affinity for various fibers, especially on natural fibers, it will have excellent affinity;

Has low yellowing under high-temperature treatment;

The treated clothes are soft and fluffy, with excellent hydrophilicity;

Has excellent compatibility, can be compatible with cationic, non-ionic, amphoteric, and most anionic systems;

Modified organic silicon groups combined with the latest hydrophilic modified functional groups 

REWOQUAT® WE 28 SH MB

WE 28 is an ester-based softening agent derived from plant raw materials. It is suitable for concentrations ranging from 4% to 20%. The treated garments have a very comfortable and soft feel, along with excellent rewetting properties and significantly reduced static electricity. Moreover, compared to untreated textiles, the drying time of textiles treated with WE 28 is significantly shortened.

Appearance: Milky white liquid or paste, solid content: 90%, original solution pH value: 7.4 - 7.5 (5% water solution)
